Our Future...

Many a times, as the president of an Interact Club, I have asked myself where exactly I personally see the future of the Interact Club to be. Being a philantrophy and good-will club, I personally believe that with the dedication and hard work of members to come, the Interact Club of G.I.S should not only have established itself as a club dedicated to community service and charity work, but also a club where the one finds the selflessness uncommon in today's world.

Being a club whereby the future is held in the hands of future Interact members, the Club will be subtle to positive change and will hopefully, achieve its full potential and the continue the respectable history their and my forebears have worked so hard to achieve.

However, returning to the present, it is my goal to not only further establish and make known the Interact Club of G.I.S but to also conduct more charity and philantrophy work.

To establish and further make known the Interact Club of G.I.S, I plan to encourage more Interactors to attend the I.U.s and Installations of other sister Interact Clubs and to organise such similar events myself. For further information on this, please visit our projects site. Although I personally admit that attending such occasions are time-consuming and may not seem desirable for most Interactors, I hope that the spirit of Service above Self will motivate them to rally behind the club and attend such events. To those who have so far, I dearly appreciate your dedication to the club.

As said above, one of my ambitions for the Interact Club this year is to also conduct more charity and philantrophy work. Examples of this are the orphanages and old-folks homes visiting I plan to organise in later months for the Interactors. Once again, although these events may be time-consuming and admittably demanding of the Interactor, I once again place my trust in the dedication of the Interactors to attend such events organised.

Together, as one united club, I believe that with this as our common goal, we will not only be capable of facing the demands of school life and other obligations, but to also excel and strive as true Interactors, placing Service above Self. Let us together make this one vision become a reality.
